Killer mugger gets 30 years

An illegal immigrant who stabbed a chef to death for his £70 mobile phone has been jailed for  30 years. Baris Kucuk, 33, bled to death after Algerian mugger Adam Tarik, 25, sliced through his knee joint with an eight inch kitchen knife. Tarik, who admitted manslaughter and robbery, denied murder but was convicted by an Old Bailey jury after just two hours of deliberations.
