Cyber terrorist called for attacks on Bangladeshi leader

A cyber terrorist who encouraged acts of violence against the Bangladeshi government has been jailed for three years. Munna Hamza, 50, posted the extremist material online in 2015 and 2018, calling for violent attacks on the then Bangladeshi Prime Minister and his government. Hamza was arrested in 2018 after a member of the public spotted the posts and reported him to police.
