A driver who ran over and killed an elderly pedestrian has been spared jail three years after the tragedy as a judge blasted ‘unacceptable’ delays in a bungled police investigation. Bledar Sollufi, 35, accidentally hit 83-year-old Gordon Reeder as the pensioner crossed the road in East Hill, Wandsworth, south London shortly after 9.30pm on 15 May 2018.
