‘Eddy Grant’s niece died in house fire’

An alleged arsonist was remanded in custody today (thurs) after he appeared in court charged with murdering singer Eddy Grant’s niece. Damion Simmons, 44, allegedly left primary school assistant Denise Keane-Barnett-Simmons to burn to death at a house fire in Alric Avenue, Stonebridge, northwest London.
