Father and son ‘took horrific revenge on man who reversed into their restaurant’

A father and son attacked a man with a machete and iron bar after a Range Rover reversed into the front of their family restaurant, a court heard. Walter Patterson, 38, was in the luxury motor which rammed ‘Lou’s Diner’ near the Sayers’ Newcastle home and he set the car ablaze during a series of ‘coordinated’ attacks. But Patterson was cornered by the John Henry Sayers, 62, and his son John Henry Sayers Junior, 29, who left him requiring hospital…
