Gang killer went on the run in Margate

A teenager who stabbed his former schoolfriend to death at a girl’s 16th birthday party said he spent three weeks on the run in Margate in fear of reprisals from a rival gang. The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, accepted he plunged a large kitchen knife into  Charlie Kutyauripo’s heart outside a sports centre in Woodford, east London.
