Gas engineer denies delivering cash to terrorist

  A gas engineer accused of delivering £3,000 to a terrorist in Syria told jurors today (mon) he thought the cash was being used for humanitarian work. Mashoud Miah, 27, said he believed extremist Mohammed Choudhury, 26, was working for opposition group Ahrar al-Sham helping civilians oppressed by President Bashar al-Assad. Miah, who took part in a series of aid convoys to the war-torn country, insisted he did not know Choudhury was connected to the Al Qaeda group Jabhat al-Nusra….
