An amateur chemist turned his daughter’s room into a laboratory and blew himself up trying to copy an experiment he had seen on YouTube, a court heard. Matthew Haydon, 48, set up the lab in at the house he shared with his mother in Loring Road, Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire.
