Jail for finance boss who plundered £1m to enjoy luxury life

  A financial director who plundered nearly £1m from her charity employer’s accounts to fund luxury holidays and VIP tickets to see Britney Spears has been jailed for six years. Chasjit Verma, 37, fleeced the Jubilee Hall Trust over a seven-year period while in charge of the registered charity’s finances.
