  Two greedy businessmen who sold horsemeat as beef which ended up in supermarket ready meals were jailed for a total of eight years today (mon). Andronicos Sideras, 55, and Ulkrik Nielsen, 57, were behind a £200,000 plot which saw 30 tonnes of horsemeat passed off as ‘100% beef’ in the scandal that rocked the food industry.
