Night bus driver admits causing pedestrian’s death

A night bus driver who killed a pedestrian has admitted causing death by careless driving. Dean Ruffle, 51, hit Leonardo Aceveco-Guiterrez in his N89 bus at around 5am on Prince of Wales Road at the junction of St Germans Place, Blackheath, on 19 April 2015. Mr Aceveco-Guiterrez, who was in his 50s, was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and died the following day, the Old Bailey heard.
