Judge lets off thief and commends his ‘enterprise’

A postroom supervisor who stole 24 pallet loads of clothes valued at £240,000 was spared jail by a judge who told him: ‘You are a very enterprising man.’ Andres Benachi, 34, worked at New Look’s head office and arranged for clothing and accessories destined for charities to be delivered to his girlfriend Nathaly Zapata, 28, and friends Angela Velez, 48, and Jose Munoz, 46.
