An killer tricked his way into a flat armed with a ‘pirate’s dagger’ and stabbed a man to death hours after dismembering a talented jazz musician, a court heard. Simon Emmons, 40, allegedly cut off the limbs of ‘accomplished trumpeter’ William Algar, 53, before burying them in a nature reserve on the evening of 18 December 2019.
