Let-off for student who wanted to meet schoolgirl

A masters student who arranged to meet a 14 year old girl at a church was spared jail. Ashif Shaikh, 30, attempted to meet a teenager for sexual activity at St Marys Roman Catholic Church in Clapham on 8 July. Shaikh had been in contact with a paedophile hunter posing as a girl who set up a decoy profile on Snapchat and he was arrested.
