Three pedestrians were injured and one had to have his leg amputated after a taxi driver mounted the pavement in the heart of London’s West End, a court heard. James Manley, 52, allegedly crashed into a group of people while driving along Southampton Street in Covent Garden at about 5pm on November 1, 2017.
