Pensioner accused of tax scam challenges US extradition

A British pensioner accused of involvement in a £44m tax scam said he will challenge moves to extradite him to the US. Roderic Sage, 72, who lives in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, was charged by the US authorities with conspiracy to defraud the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The IRS administers and enforces US federal tax laws.
