Physio suspended after mentally ill child’s treadmill test

A physiotherapist who ordered a mentally handicapped child to run up a treadmill with her eyes shut has been suspended for six months. Catherine Kirk set her patients suffering from brain damage challenges which left them vulnerable to head injuries, a disciplinary panel found.
