Retrial for accused allotment killer

A gardener accused of strangling the elderly secretary of an allotment association because he feared losing his beloved vegetable garden is facing a retrial. Rahim Mohammadi, 41, was said to have throttled 80 year-old Lea Adri-Soejoko with a lawnmower cord at the plot in Colindale, northwest London. Mohammadi had clashed with Mrs Adri-Soejoko over the running of the allotments in the months leading up to her death, it was claimed.
