Revenge murders of Colombian jewel thieves

Two international jewel thieves plotted the revenge murder of an accomplice to settle a feud over the loot from a raid, a court heard. Colombians Gonzalo Gomez-Remolina, 36, and his brother Christian Mauricio Gomez-Remolina stabbed compatriot Carlos Ayala-Cormona, 28, and 30-year-old Spaniard Ruben Fuente 11 years ago, it is claimed.
