Salmon farm victim of £2m phishing fraud

A ‘mule herder’ was part of a phishing scam which swindled £2m from a Highland salmon farm, a court heard. Dan-Gabriel Aiyegbusi, 22, is accused of laundering £94,900 as part of £2,090,000 belonging to Wester Ross Fisheries on 19 July 2017. The firm was set up in 1977 and is based in the Scottish Highlands, with salmon farms in Loch Kannaird, Loch Broom and Little Loch Broom.
