Serial thief grabbed designer bags from Mayfair store

A serial thief who stole two handbags from a luxury shop and went on to steal over £3,000 worth of skin care products from Boots has been jailed for four months. Italian Smail Boubenider, 24,snatched two diamond cross-body bags worth a total of £1,460 from MCM on Conduit Street in Mayfair after overwhelming a shop assistant on Boxing Day last year.
