Sick pay cheat struck off

A hospital worker who forged her doctor’s medical notes to trick the NHS into paying her sick pay has been struck off. Sharon Forsyth claimed she was ill while working as an Operating Department Practitioner at St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester, West Sussex, in 2018. Forsyth, who was on long-term sick leave, was meant to update her line manager about her health issues regularly, a tribunal heard.
