Suspect in Barnet fire murder faces November trial

A murder suspect accused of battering a man to death and setting fire to his flat will stand trial in November. Reece Jones, 25, allegedly killed David McKenna, 55, at the ground floor property in Finch Close, Barnet. Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to a fire at the scene at 5.56am on 12 October 2015. Mr McKenna was found unresponsive inside the building.
