Terrorist killer ‘tried to murder the prison imam too’

A terrorist serving a life sentence for knifing a pensioner to death has appeared in court accused of trying to murder a prison imam. Moroccan Ahmed Ali Alid, 47, tried to kill Roderic Vassie at HMP Full Sutton in Yorkshire on 8 August last year, it is alleged.
