50 year old ‘murdered’ partner, aged 83

A 50-year-old man accused of murdering his 83-year-old partner has been remanded in custody. Ursula Uhlemann was found with injuries to her neck when paramedics attended her home in Fourth Avenue, Queen’s Park, northwest London in the earlt hours of 4 March. Ms Uhlemann received treatment and police attended but she died at the scene. A post-mortem gave the provisional cause of death as compression to the neck.
