Self-styled ‘Lady’ Rosemary Aberdour the mul

Self-styled ‘Lady’ Rosemary Aberdour the multi-million

pounds charity swindler will be brought back to the Old Bailey
tomorrow (Tues).

The extraordinary move comes in the wake of a story which
appeared in the Evening Standard last week.

The article suggested that Aberdour had a small fortune in
stolen loot stashed away in secret foreign bank accounts.

Aberdour was jailed last month for four years after admitting
theft and deception charges totalling pnds stlng 2.

98 million.

She stole the money whilst working as Deputy Director of a
charity for the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases.

But when she appeared before Mr Justice John Leonard on March
27, this year, Mr Graham Boal defending told the court that she
did not have a penny of the stolen charity cash left.

Imposing the ‘most lenient sentence’ on Aberdour the judge
accepted that she had no money hidden away to enjoy when she got
out of jail.

Aberdour, 30, squandered the fortune on lavish parties,
expensive gifts and holidays for hangers-on, servants, jewels and

a luxury riverside apartment and cars.

In two-and-a-half-years she got through the lot.

At the
height of her incredible spending spree she was getting through a
pnds stlng 100,000 a week.

At tomorrow’s hearing, called by Mr Justice Leonard, the
crown are expected to catagorically refute that there is any
truth in the story and rumours that Aberdour has a secret hoard
of cash.
