Mental patient will stand trial for nurse killing

A patient accused of knifing a nurse to death at a psychiatric hospital has been declared fit to stand trial. Jimi Jedson, 40, allegedly killed 68-year-old Patrick Clarke at the Southleigh Community Mental Health Hospital in south Croydon, south London, on 12 May.
