Bookie raiders jailed for crime rampage

A gang of robbers armed with handguns and samurai swords have been jailed for more than 44 years for stealing £20,000 from betting shops in an eight-month crime rampage. The six-strong team, aged between 19 and 23, targeted ten Ladbrokes bookmakers across London and Hertfordshire between 1 May 2016 and 23 January 2017.
