Crooked landlords jailed for laundering £1m scam proceeds

Two crooked landlords who helped launder cash from a £1m housing benefit scam have been jailed. Mgcini Khanye, 37, Sam Hammond, 41, and Kyeshia Stratchan, 29, pocketed payments made to bogus tenants as part of a nine year scam. The fake claims were processed by housing benefit assessors working at councils across London.
