An alleged killer today (mon) denied stabbing a popular florist to death in an alleyway. James Peppiatt, 21, is accused of murdering 55-year-old Tony Eastlake, known as the ‘flower man of Islington’ by customers, in Essex Road, Islington, on 29 May. Mr Eastlake was stabbed in the lower back shortly after finishing work.
