Accused killer denies beating woman to death in her home

An alleged killer has appeared in court charged with murdering a 74-year-old woman nine months after she was found dead in her home. The body of Pepita Sarikecili, also known as Pepita Garcia, was found on January 13, after police officers forced their way into her home on Reynardson Road, Tottenham.
