Anti semite who believes Jewish people are from outer space gets a rocket from the judge

A conspiracy theorist who wrote ‘Jews and gays are grey aliens’ in a bizarre anti-Semitic graffiti campaign is facing jail.

Nicholas Lalchan, 47, used a black marker pen to deface 17 bus stops across northwest London, causing £100 worth of damage each time.

Canadian Lalchan admitted causing criminal damage but denied that the offence was racially or religiously aggravated.

Asked why he daubed bus stops with the words ‘Jew and gays are grey aliens’, he replied: ‘I’m a Christian, I’m not happy with gay, LGBT agenda, especially what they’re trying to do in schools.

‘In Scotland children as young as four can determine what gender they want to be. I don’t agree with this stuff. I’m a Christian and it goes against my religion.’

Lalchan was convicted of stirring up racial hatred by a jury at Aldersgate House.

The jury could not reach a verdict against Lalchan for racially aggravated criminal damage.

He had admitted possessing a marker pen with intent to cause criminal damage.

Judge Gerald Pounder told Lalchan: ‘I have to sentence you on the other matters, count 5
(stirring up racial hatred) is quite serious.

‘I need to know a lot more about you. You’re in your 40s now, you’ve been in trouble in the past, nothing like this though.

‘You’ve got these firmly held beliefs, we try and ensure people have free speech ,but with free speech comes responsibility.

‘All it takes is for a small Jewish child to see this, and for them to get very upset.

‘You were deliberately hostile, and you aimed it at a specific group of people, whether that be gay people, a Jewish priest or Jewish people.’

David Patience, prosecuting, said: ‘In March 2019 graffiti began to appear on various bus stops in North-West London.

‘Graffiti that the prosecution say was anti-Semitic and motivated by hostility towards Jewish people.

‘It was scrawled in black marker pen on plastic sheets on the bus stop.’

Jurors were shown photographs of the graffiti written over the plastic coverings bus timetables and maps.

‘The graffiti differed slightly from bus stop,’ Mr Patience continued.

‘It referred, the prosecution say, to bizarre conspiracy theories.’

It said: ‘Jews and gays are grey aliens’ and suggested ‘there was a new world order agenda’.

Much of the graffiti refers to conspiracy theories and ‘encouraged people to search on YouTube and Google to find out about them’, said Mr Patience.

These include ‘the Rothchild Trillions’, ‘Talmud quotes about the Goyim’, ‘child rape assembly line’, and ‘Rabbi Nuchem Rosenberg interview’.

Other messages said: ‘Arrest warrant for the Queen and the Pope’ and ‘beware malevolent aliens e.g. Jews and gays’.

Mr Patience said: ‘This graffiti was daubed on bus stops in areas of North-West London, which the prosecution suggest have large Jewish communities, such as Edgware, Hendon, Finchley.

‘It was seen by Jewish people, and others, who were distressed by what they saw and reported it to the police.’

Police obtained CCTV footage of a man vandalising a bus stop at 3.30am and the images were circulated. A police community support officer recognised Lalchan.

Lalchan was caught as he was leaving his home carrying black marker pen and large quantities of leaflets with similar messages as the bus stop graffiti.

When police searched his address they found more leaflets, marker pens, maps of bus routes and a USB stick which contained pictures making references to Jewish people and conspiracy theories.

Lalchan was interviewed under caution and charged at the police station. He responded: ‘New world order, the fourth Reich, you’ll see.’

He told the court it was too late to stop the New World Order, and all there was left to do was turn to Jesus Christ.

‘We’re in the trap and they’re closing the lid. They’re in control of the finances, in control of Facebook, the media,’ he said.

‘As a Christian, Jesus Christ is my messiah so I’m trying to get people who don’t believe in God.

‘We cannot stop them, it’s unstoppable, the only thing you can do is accept it’s here already. Your only hope is to turn to God through Jesus Christ.

He said the New World Order is ‘a socialist, communist kind of thing’ which is ‘in control of the world’s economy, control the money, and control the people’.

‘I think it is a satanic entity, it’s an antichrist movement. I’m a Christian. It’s verging on evil to tell you the truth.

He made further claims including Pope Francis leading a ‘Satanic cult’ involving paedophilia and ritual killings.

Lalchan appeared in court wearing a long brown checked coat over a white shirt, white trousers and brown boots.

He wore his shoulder length hair in a ponytail and carried around folders and a black laptop bag.

Lalchan, of Woodlands Road, Edmonton, denied racially and religiously aggravated criminal damage, possessing a marker pen with intent to cause criminal damage and stirring up racial hatred.

He admitted causing the damage and possessing the pen but denies any racial or religious motivation.

He remains on bail ahead of sentence at Snaresbrook Crown Court on December 1.
