Asylum seekers ‘were Iranian spies’

Three Iranian asylum seekers spied on UK-based journalists for their government intending that ‘serious violence’ would be used against them, a court heard Mostafa Sepahvand, 40, Farhad Javadi Manesh, 45, and Shapoor Qalehali Khani Noori, 56, are accused of targeting journalists working for London based Persian language TV channel Iran International which reports on human rights violations in the country.
