Charges dropped against ‘cruelty’ couple

  Child cruelty charges against a man and an elderly woman accused of beating a six-year-old boy for not doing his homework properly have been dropped. Felicia Adeneye, 72, and Michael Lucas, 43, were said to have punished the ‘quiet and sensitive’ child – now 12 – using belts, sticks and even an ornamental Buddha.
