Couple must wait a year to stand trial over baby’s death

A mother today (tues) denied causing or allowing the death of her 15-month-old son while her boyfriend denied murdering him. Jacob Lennon died after he was rushed to hospital from the family home in Putney, southwest London, after suffering a head injury in August 2019. Jake Drummond, 32, and Louise Lennon, 31, both appeared at the Old Bailey today facing charges arising from Jacob’s death.
