A serial emailer who has sent hundreds of messages to Met Police chiefs including Cressida Dick is being hunted by detectives. Uzzam Sohail, 42, was convicted of two charges of sending emails to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety in his absence after failing to attend court. The bulk of the emails were sent to Supt Jon Simpson and Detective Chief Inspector Will Lexton-Jones. Sohail embarked on his first round of ‘persistent’ emailing from 6 September to 27 October 2020….
