Former footballer ‘tried to murder gangland rival’

A professional footballer has appeared in court accused of shooting at a rival in a gangland hit outside his own home. Benjamin Agyeman-Badu, 21, and Darren John, 22, allegedly attempted to murder Henry Bardi on 9 March this year after an altercation between the trio erupted on Aldriche Way, east London.
