A science geek who set up an explosives factory in his mother garden could have hit his neighbours’ houses with a homemade rocket launcher, a court heard. Harry Whittaker, 33, is alleged to have made explosive substances in two sheds at the home in the Bedfordshire village of Caddington, near Luton.
