German art collector in court

A German art collector accused of stealing more than £1 million has appeared in court. Angela Gulbenkian, 38, allegedly pocketed £1,061,484.18 in payment for a polka dotted piece called the ‘Kusama pumpkin’ by Yayoi Kusama but never handed over the item. She is also charged with stealing £50,000 from a client called Jacqui Ball.
