GOLMAKANI: TRIO DENY BASKETBALL COURT MURDER
Three teenagers accused of stabbing a 22-year-old man to death on a basketball court have today (Fri) denied his murder.
Milad Golmakani was found with fatal stab wounds to his neck and chest after police were called to the Mortimer Crescent estate in Kilburn, northwest London, on April 20 this year.
He died in hospital barely an hour later.
Sean Hutton, Sean Ferdinand, both 19, and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, denied the killing during a short hearing before the Old Bailey.
The trio, who have been remanded in custody, are also accused of both attempting to kill and inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent on a second man, Zain Salahuddin, on the same day.
Their trial, estimated to run for four weeks, is due to take place on January 3.

Hutton, of (12) Malden Road, Belsize Park, the 17-year-old, also of Belsize Park, and Ferdinand of (8) Gilbey’s Yard, Chalk Farm, all north London, deny murder, attempted murder and wounding with intent.
