‘I was besotted with Parliamentary worker’

Former Tory MP Charlie Elphicke told a court he was ‘besotted’ with a Parliamentary worker and wanted to take their relationship to a different level. Elphicke, 49, is accused of repeatedly groping the young woman, in her 20s at the time, in the Palace of Westminster and kissing her against her will in 2016.
