IT consultant appears in court over arsenic plot to kill ex-wife and her family

An Indian IT consulant accused of hiring assassins to poison his ex-wife and her family by lacing their spices with arsenic was remanded in custody. Ajith Kumar Mupparapu, 45, was living in Berkshire with oncologist Dr Sirisha Muttavarapu but she filed for divorce after five years of marriage in 2022.
