Judge has a go at the police for not finding suspect

A judge has slammed police for a ‘scandalous’ blunder after they failed to find the victim of a wounding attack. Edward Prempeh, 50, was accused of a serious assault on Terry Hunter but Judge Philip Bartle QC was forced to throw the case out. He said it was ‘verging on scandalous’ that police were unable to locate Mr Hunter after searching for him all day.
