Let-off for the blackmailing cabaret artiste

A blackmailer who demanded cash from Lloyds bank when he was accidentally locked in a branch has been spared jail. Cabaret artist Christian Downing, 43, went into the Brixton office moments before it was due to shut to use their telephone.
