Pensioner stabbed rival pool player after they rowed about whether the table was level

A pensioner tried to kill a drinker with a machete after complaining that the pub pool table was not level, a court heard. Former pub landlord Patrick Dynan, 71, stabbed Terry Santry at least three times in the back following the argument in the Broad Green Tavern in West Croydon, south London.
