Pilot smuggled in cocaine in light aircraft’s red wing weights

  A pilot smuggled cocaine worth £2.5m into the UK from Holland hidden in the red wing weights on a Piper light aircraft, a court heard. Dutchman John Buwalda, 52, was arrested after he delivered the drugs to Polish national Jan Polak, 61, at a Holiday Inn hotel near Rochester Airport in Kent.
