Protesters face two year wait for trial

Two Just Stop Oil protesters accused of smashing glass protecting Diego Velázquez’s Rokeby Venus in London’s National Gallery must wait more than two years for their trial. Harrison Donnelly, 20, and Hanan Ameur, 22, allegedly attacked the 17th century painting of a nude goddess Venus gazing into a mirror held by Cupid on 6 November.
