Scrap dealer faces £17.5m fraud charges

A scrap precious metal dealer accused of a £17.5m VAT fraud appeared in court today (FRI). Tony Bond, 60, allegedly gave false information when submitting tax forms for five of his scrap metal companies to cheat the public revenue out of millions between January 2008 and March this year.
