Sister claims cops punched teenager in the face

  A 14-year-old boy smashed his head on a radiator after he was punched in the face by a police officer, a court heard. PC Paul Hyland, 34, allegedly attacked the teenager after arresting him on suspicion of robbery as he lay in bed at his home in Poplar, east London. His colleagues PCs Frances Smythe, 25, William Wright, 27, Ian Evans, 25, did nothing to prevent the assault and failed to report the incident, Southwark Crown Court has heard….
