Still on the run after nightclub murder

Two men are still on the run wanted for murder after a rapper was stabbed to death after a row at a nightclub more than three years ago, a court heard.

Ricardo Fuller, 24, was chased down and knifed in the neck outside the Discoteca No Problem on Ilford High Road, east London in the early hours of 7 March 2020.

Edmund Tucker, 31, Jermaine Ahenkorah, 30, and Emmanuel Tamwesigire, 31, deny murdering Mr Fuller, while two other men, Ahmed Sesay and Abubaker Tarawally, are still on the run.

Danny Robinson KC, prosecuting, said: ‘Mr Fuller went to a party at a nightclub called Discoteca No Problem which was situated at 333 Ilford High Road.

‘These three defendants were part of a group of five men who also went to Discoteca No Problem that night.

‘All five men went into the club together shortly before 5 o’clock in the morning. Mr Fuller was already in the club.

‘As soon as the five men got into the main room of the club there was a confrontation with Mr Fuller.

‘[Two of the men] beckoned Mr Fuller to come outside and the five men who went into the club left the club as a group.

‘Mr Fuller followed them, picking up a bottle on his way out. CCTV from outside the club shows most of what happened next.

‘Once Mr Fuller left the club he was chased by these three defendants, and the two other men up, and down the road.

‘The five men acted together and Mr Fuller was chased down.

‘He suffered three stab wounds, one to his neck and two more to his back. The stab wound to his neck severed his carotid artery and resulted in massive blood loss.

‘The CCTV recording shows a clash where Mr Fuller hit Mr Tucker in the head with a bottle, and when he did that Mr Tucker appears to have an object in his hand.

‘Emmanuel Tamwesigire can be seen to run across the road and make two punching motions towards Mr Fuller.

‘Shortly after 5am police officers and the ambulance service were called to the club to deal with reports that a man had been stabbed.

‘They arrived and found Mr Fuller collapsed on the dance floor. He was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.’

He was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel where he died later that morning.

Tucker, of Dagenham, Tamwesigire, of Chingford, and Ahenkorah, of Plaistow, all deny murder.
